Where’s My Refund?

Just wanted to give you a heads up about the Where’s My Refund? tool on IRS.gov. It’s your best bet for getting the latest scoop on your refund status. They’ve made some recent upgrades to it, so now you can get more detailed updates in plain language. That means fewer calls to the IRS for info!

If you’re waiting on EITC or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) related funds, they should hit your bank account or debit card by February 27, as long as you went for direct deposit and everything else checks out on your tax return. For the early birds who filed for EITC/ACTC refunds, Where’s My Refund? will have projected deposit dates updated by February 17.

So, if you’re itching to know when that money’s coming in, keep an eye on Where’s My Refund? for your personalized refund date. Easy peasy!
